1. General Conditions
1.1. The following Privacy Policy governs the treatment of personal information in the social network “Joincube®”, henceforth the “Application”. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe the type of data and personal information we collect from the Users, the purposes for which they are used, what rights Users have regarding the protection of said information and against whom and in what circumstances we can reveal said information.
1.2. The Application is developed by Joincube, Inc., henceforth the “Provider”, and operated by Nova Pontocom, henceforth the “Operator”. All reference to “us” and “our”, or in general the first person plural, refers jointly to the Provider and the Operator.
1.3. This document is an Annex to the Terms of Use that are available on the website of the Operator, and the definitions contained therein are applicable.
1.4. As the creators of the Application we believe that the privacy of data and personal information of the Users is fundamental. For this reason we have developed this Privacy Policy in order to protect the online security of our Users.
2. Information Collection
2.1. Collection of Non-Personal Information
2.1.1. Certain non-personal information from website visits will be registered for the normal functioning of the Internet servers in which the website is hosted. The non-personal information that we collect could include IP addresses, the type of operating system used (for example, Mac, Windows or Linux), the type of browser used by the User (for example, Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer), the number and the frequency of visits to the website, what website the user was visiting immediately before visiting our website and standard web registry information, like for example the connection information, page statistics, traffic to and from the website and advertising data. Upon visiting the website or using certain features of the website, we can compile certain non-personal information about the User through small text files called “cookies”. We use cookies for various purposes, such as the recognize visitors to the website, to determine the number of unique visitors to the website, to determine what web pages are visited, and to carry out internal revisions of the website. We associate the collected information through cookies with the personal information that we collect through the Application. We can use the combined information to personalize the User’s experience on the website for example or to personalize marketing communications. The User is always free to eliminate the cookies, but when deleting cookies it is possible that some of the website’s features will not function correctly. In the majority of browsers, the “Help” option in the tool bar will indicate how to configure the browser to reject new cookies, how to have the browser inform the User when a new cookie is received and how to delete the cookies from the User’s hard disk. The information collected through cookies, and that we can share, is anonymous and no identifiable with any person. It does not contain the User’s name, address, telephone number or email. We could allow advertisers on our website: advertisers could use cookies. We do not have control over third party cookies.
2.2. Collection of personal information
2.2.1. All information that the Application receives from its Users will be duly saved, in such a way that it cannot be communicated, modified or publicly divulged, expect under the conditions and in the cases that governing law establishes or authorizes. Consequently, both the Provider and the Operator will employ all necessary legal precautions to ensure the protection and privacy of personal information. Nevertheless, all parties should be aware that the transmission of information via Internet is not completely safe. The access or unauthorized use, or software or hardware failures, among other factors, can compromise the security of the User’s information at any time.
2.2.2. You can visit our website without giving your name nor transmitting personal information. If you accept to participate as a User of the Application, you consent that:
- a) During the creation of your user we will require, among others, information about your name, last name, email address, postal address, telephone and age;
b) Your personal information will be transferred and deposited in our servers located in the United States;
c) In the case that you area a LinkedIn user, the Application will be able to read and store your Curriculum Vitae, profile picture, work experience and education background;
d) This Application will not have the capacity to access private messages on LinkedIn and will not have the capacity to store the User’s LinkedIn password.
2.2.3. Your User account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You should prevent any unauthorized access to your account and personal information through the selection of an adequate password and maintaining said password out of reach from third parties. The User should limit the access to their computer, and whenever possible, should close their account session on the Application when they have finished using it.
2.3. Google user data
2.3.1 The application accesses Google user data to 1) view and manage the files in your Google Drive, 2) manage your contacts and 3) manage your calendars. The application will not use your Google user data for any other purpose besides the aforementioned. We do not save any Google User information.

3. Use, access and destruction of data and personal information
3.1. We do not sell or redistribute the personal information of the Users nor will the information be used for any purpose other than those related to this Application.
3.2. As a User you accept that we could use your personal information to:
a) Provide the service and technical support that you solicit.
- b) Resolve disputes, respond to emails or other requirements.
c) Personalize, measure and improve our services and content.
3.3. Any User that desires to suspend the authorization granted to the Application will be able to do so following the procedure described in the point 7.1.1 ii) of the Terms of Use.
4. Disclosing data and personal information
4.1. We only disclose personal data collected by the Application to third parties in the event of a judicial requirement or through your express consent.
5. Security of date and personal information
5.1. Your data and personal information will be stored in an encrypted format in local servers in the United States and protected from unauthorized access. Only authorized employees will have access to the data and personal information of the Users and this access will be limited to what is reasonably necessary to comply with their responsibilities. However, third parties could illegally intercept or access private transmissions and communications and abuse or illegally use the personal information they have obtained. Therefore, even though we work diligently and responsibly to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee, and you should not expect, that your data and private information remain private forever.
5.2. The User is the only one responsible for all of the activity of his account, whether communicated through himself or through anyone using his account. If you believe that your account has been compromised, you must immediately contact us via email or mail at the address indicated at the bottom of this document. The User is obliged to compensate us for losses suffered by us or a third party, due to the use of his account by another person.
6. Age restrictions
6.1. You declare and guarantee that you are at least thirteen (13) years old, if you are under thirteen (13), you cannot, under any circumstance or any reason, use the Application.
7. Unforeseen Circumstances
7.1. In the event that our company or any of our assets is/are acquired by a third party, the personal information that we have acquired can be one of the assets transferred in such an event.
8. Websites for Third Parties
8.1. We are not responsible for the policies, content, and practices of third-party websites that have any connection to the Application or its content. Please consult the privacy policies of these websites to learn how they collect and use personal information.
9. Changes in our privacy policies
9.1. When registering as a User, and/or using the Application or our Web Site, you accept the terms and conditions described in this privacy policy.
9.2. On occasion, it may be necessary for us to change some of our terms and conditions. In this case, we will inform you through this same site by publishing an up to date version of this document. If you continue to use the Application, it will imply the acceptance of these changes.
